Typical Show - Pirate

We offer a wide variety of presentations based upon the client’s needs. Here is an idea of a typical stage presentation for the Sailor/Pirate Persona.

Roll in
portable
stage
set up

The above set up with curtains and overhead banner is available for all day and multi-day presentations.
While taking their places, the audience admires the fully set up portable stage.
Beautiful birds standing on their portable stands to either side of the stage.
Most likely the sound system has been playing original sea shanty music typical of the period and theme.

The show opens with Captain Marcus singing a short “Sea Shanty, Recruiter’s Song” while swinging his sword in front of the audience to attract and hold their undivided attention.
Please notice the roll stage behind the performer (shown with the
Green Arrow). The props for each routine are concealed in this stage until ready to be used. They are brought out, dramatically used and returned out of site. This leaves a very clean appearance and helps to keep the audience focused on what is going on at the moment.
     The
Red Arrow points to the speaker located behind the stage. While compact, this is a professional sound system that includes music and cordless true diversity microphone receiver. This attention to detail insures that the audience can clearly hear what is going on. The performer is not “tethered down” by a cord. He can move where ever the moment demands and be sure that none of the dialog is lost.

Capt. Marcus begins to introduce himself when one of the Macaw Parrots interrupts him. If the ship doesn’t set sail soon, it may miss the tide.
Marcus gets one of the bird crew to hurry up and hoist the ships anchor onto the deck so that the voyage can get formerly underway.
Our Captain quickly starts to explains to the audience about the work of a sailor onboard a square rigging ship of the 1600 and 1700’s.

You can't get much
closer to the
action than this

The Macaws demonstrate 18 to 24 skillful behaviors all wrapped into our story line of the life of a sailor when “wooden ships and iron men sailed the waves”.
This program is quite fast paced and involves a lot of audience interaction.
The show concludes with some very dramatic acrobatics of our professional bird actors
The length of the show depends upon the audience and event. If everything else is not factored in the stage show presentation of the act will last around 45 minutes

This time is dependent upon the type of show and the audience we are performing for.

Q: Where does a pirate go to buy gasoline?

A: Arrco. Laugh when I tells a joke or prepare to meet Davy Jones!
