Our wonderfully popular Treasure Hunt completes when the kids open the treasure chest and find treasure inside. Prizes need to be inside the chest when the kids open the lid. This can be done in one of two ways.
(1) The party host (Mom and Dad) makes the goodie bags. Upon Parrot Tales arrival the bags are given to us to place inside the treasure chest. OR
(2) Parrot Tales can supply the goodie bags to you for a ‘per bag’ charge. Click here to see pricing.
How are our goodie bags different? In two signifigant ways. (1) Playability: For years we have observed what children do and do not play with from goodie bags. We’ve worked hard to assemble sets that kids of widely varying ages play with and want to keep. (2) Charge for Quantity Used: We recognize that no matter what you do, you simply don’t know how many kids are going to show up. If you are making your own goodie bags you don’t know how much to buy so you typically buy a lot more than you expect kids for and end up with lots of ‘stuff’ left over. When we supply the goodie bags that problem doesn’t exist. With our standard bags, you tell us how many kids you are expecting. If less kids show up than expected, then we only charge you for the bags actually used. On the other hand, if you end up with more kids than you invited (which happens a lot with our shows) we have you covered because we bring extra bags.
Most goodie bags are intended for kids 3 years old and up. If younger kids are to receive bags, special bags should be provided for them. Of particular concern is the potential for chocking At Parrot Tales we like to give Toddler Bags to kids 3 and under (1 yr extra safety margin.) We have these Toddler Bags available for you. Actual contents may vary from what is shown due to availability of particular items/sets. We purchase items in large bulk “surplus lines” from wholesalers. Availability can fluctuate. We keep multiple manufacturers lines open so that the basic type of items remain available to us.
