The human member of this performing troupe has been working with parrots for well over forteen years. Marcus got into performing with parrots after he acquired his first Macaw, Maxwell.

     Marcus and Maxwell started doing shows about seven years ago and things grew from there.
     Today Parrot Tales Productions does 400 plus presentations each year. Shows span the gamut from private parties to state fairs. Audiences range from pre-schools to senior assisted living facilities. The company now travels to several other states doing programs at county and state fairs.
     As the photo shows, Mark has been interested in magic for a very long time. As his mother would tell you, “He practiced hard but was never really very good at magic.” So, in the shows one of the macaws performs the feats of magic while Marcus assists the best he can.
