Performances run the scale from Pure fun and entertainment to true “Edutainment” (activities that provide fundamental educational value while being entertaining to the audiences.) During a typical show, I use three or four macaws (huge, colorful parrots) that perform 18 to 24 behaviors (tricks). Generally, a performance is 45 min. for a seated audience, 20 min for a standing audience. (We do presentations from 10 minutes to multi day.)
These parrots are professional animal actors that take delight in performing. It’s hard to say who is having more fun at a performance, the audience or the birds. I’m proud to be able to present shows that both small children and adults, alike, thoroughly enjoy.
We have considerable experience as a “subcontractor” for party planners, and event coordinators so, I understand your general needs. I encourage you to discuss with me any special needs you or your client has.
As professional, booking or recommending performers for your clients, you are naturally concerned about the acts you recommend. As a professional performer I am aware of your concerns and needs. I will return your calls, in a timely manner. I will arrive at the job on time. I will provide a quality show that 1) you, 2) your customer and 3) I will be proud of.
To further expand my abilities to meet the needs of my clients, I have a very professional, totally portable (AC power not required), sound system with true diversity UHF cordless mic, & CD capability.
- Using our single or double speaker on stands, the system will, realistically handle an audience of around 1000 people. It can be plugged in via a ¼” phono jack or XLR to become part of the “house” sound system.
Combined with the parrots performing from our custom made portable staging, you can be assured that the audience can clearly see and hear the performance. We carry liability insurance and can provide certificates of additional insured and even primary endorsements (additional cost).
